Two public libraries are located in the region, the L'Anse au Loup Public Library and the Cartwright Public Library. These libraries are small, but books are also available through inter-library loans from other libraries around the provinces. The website also provides detailed information about hours and services at provincial public libraries.

Each of the libraries offer internet access and often offer special activities, such as book clubs, computer training, craft nights, and special guest speakers.

The library in L'Anse au Loup is located at the Lawrence D. O'Brien Town Centre. The library in Cartwright is located in the Henry Gordon Academy on the Main Road.
